Eastern Province Grand Praetor Walt Cooner is looking for a Maryland alumnus who is interested in serving as Gamma Chi’s Assistant Chapter Advisor (ACA). Since its rechartering in 2009, Gamma Chi is the largest of the seven chapters in the Province–yet it is the only one only without an ACA. The ACA is, for al intents and purposes, a second chapter advisor and stands in as chairman of the chapter advisor’s board, works directly with the Gamma Chi House Corporation, as well as undergraduate chapter officers and the executive committee. Along with the Grand Praetor and Chapter Advisor, he serves as a liaison between the chapter and community alumni, university officials and the General Fraternity. He oversees the submission of required reports and forms and fees, particularly in areas associated with financial operations, pledging and Initiations.
