Proud to share with all of you that our Undergraduate Chapter raised $67,476 during Derby Days 2025 for the Children’s National Hospital in D.C. Derby Days continues to be the largest UMD Greek Philanthropy and second largest on campus overall. Consul Chris Castelli & Derby Days Co-Chair Cael Comstock presented the check to Children’s National Hospital for the proceeds from Derby Days 2025 (pictured above).
Congratulations to the Chapter for another successful Derby Days. Thanks also to our alumni, parents, friends, and sponsors for their donations “for the kids.”
We’d like to give a special shout-out to the sisters of the UMD Delta Delta Delta sorority for enthusiastically supporting Derby Days again this year. Congratulations to our Derby Days Co-Chairs Cael Comstock & Luke Offutt for leading this endeavor so successfully.
Thank you to our valued alumni, parents and friends, plus our sponsors, for their donations to Derby Days 2025.
The Chapter has raised $850,000 for Children’s, since our first Derby Days in 2011 after recolonizing in 2009.
One constant since 2011 has been our Derby Days Alumni Advisor Chris Kennedy ‘85. Chris has worked tirelessly with 15 consecutive Derby Days Chairmen since 2011 to ensure a successful outcome each year.
It’s great to be a Sig.
